There is no required summer social studies work. There is a way to earn extra credit any time of year, including the summer:
1. Read a historical fiction or non fiction book.
2. Write a two paragraph review of the book: in the first paragraph, briefly describe the book. In the second, write about your experience with the book- what you liked, didn't like, anything you didn't understand, anything you'd like to explore more about, or a character that really spoke to you.
3. Turn it in to me.
OR
Design a project/ role play/ lesson plan for class. If you would like to do this, please come see me and we will design something.
